The characteristics of the two rollers of the water roller and the ink roller in the printing machine

The water roller and the ink roller are all kinds of rollers used in the printing machine. A water roller is a roller that applies a dampening solution onto a plate in a lithographic printing press. His production of raw materials is water fleece, water jacket, so it has a very good hydrophilic properties. Because the fleece sleeve has countless pores, all the water rollers also have good water absorption properties. These two properties ensure that it can provide good wetting of the printing plate. An ink roller is a rubber roller that applies ink to a printing plate.
Offset printing units are generally composed of rollers, ink supply systems, water supply systems, transmission systems, and racks. Therefore, each part will affect the quality of printed products. The water roller is the last link of the water supply system. The ink roller is the last link of the ink supply system. The work status of these two rollers is decisive for the quality of the printed product. In order to effectively control the quality of printed products, the surface of both rollers must have a high level of flatness, and the distribution of water and ink on them must also be uniform when they are used, so as to ensure that water and ink are transferred to the printing plate when printed. The quality of the product can be stabilized. In order to meet the printing requirements of different prints, a certain degree of non-uniformity may be allowed in the waterway or ink path between the two rolls, because the unevenness can be compensated by the two rolls, but it should not be non-uniformity. The bigger the better. The smaller the inhomogeneity, the better.
The ink roller also has a characteristic that when he cannot use it, other rollers can be used instead. But when other rollers cannot be used, he cannot replace other rollers.
