3.5 The importance of the water roller and the ink roller
The water roller and the ink roller are the last link of water supply and ink supply. The quality of the work directly determines the quality of the printed product. Therefore, the surface of the ink roller and the water roller must have a high degree of flatness, and the distribution of water and ink on the surface must also be uniform. It can be said that water and ink should be in the "positioning" state on the surfaces of the water roller and the ink roller. Water and ink are passed to the plate after positioning, thus ensuring the stability of the print quality. A certain non-uniformity is allowed in the waterway or ink path between the water roller and the ink roller, and the unevenness can be compensated by the water roller and the ink roller, but the smaller the non-uniformity, the better.
When the ink roller cannot be used, it can be replaced with other rollers (such as an even roller), but when the other roller cannot be used, it can no longer be used as an ink roller.
